Something I've come to realize in recent years is that when it comes to vehicles, my aesthetics lie not in the classic cars of the days of yore, but in the ones of the late 70s to around the mid 90s. No idea why other than those are the cars and trucks that I grew up around and rode in growing up. And when it comes to trucks, the trend recently has been towards the compact pickups. I think that, at least, is because they project of image of being zippier and more nimble than their larger, heavy-duty peers.

Of course, I don't have a driver's license nor have I ever even driven a vehicle, so it's a moot point. One day in the near future maybe.
