You know who I'd like to see in an Avengers movie? Black Knight

Faiza Hussain would be a nice tag along character too. There's loads of members in the Avengers' varied lineup that I'd like to see in future installments, like Wonder Man, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Wasp, one of Henry Pym's alter egos (Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Yellow Jacket, it's all good), Sersi, Vision, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, etc. The beauty of the Avengers is that they've had so many lineup changes through their almost fifty year history, that Marvel isn't tied down to a set cast list. I doubt that we'll see any of these characters in Avengers 2 - they'll probably keep the same lineup as the first - but we could in a third or fourth movie.

Nerd rage! Syfy cancelling Sanctuary

Real Life Comics by Greg Dean.
Goddammit Syfy. Thoughts and cursing after the jump.

Alive Like Me.

I'm done with Syfy and their perpetual bullshit with canceling good science fiction and replacing them with reality shows. If they didn't want to fund the show for seven seasons, then at least give them a fifth like Eureka and Stargate: Atlantis got. But nooooooooooo, gotta have them cheapo Ghost Hunting Big Foot's Quantum Kitchen steaming pile of reality bullshit, don't you? Speaking of Eureka, after the show finishes its final season, I'm ditching Syfy. I feel sorry for Warehouse 13 fans, that show will probably be next.

Sanctuary wasn't the greatest show ever, but it deserved better.

I'm whelmed by Toonami's return

So just in case you've found yourself frozen in carbonite for the past several days and didn't know, Toonami is coming back. Specifically, it's returning as part of Adult Swim and therein lies the reason why I'm whelmed - it's Toonami in name only. Topless Robot posted the block's schedule for this coming Saturday, take a look:

12:00 a.m. - Bleach
12:30 a.m. - Deadman Wonderland
1:00 a.m. - Casshern Sins
1:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
2:00 a.m. - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG
2:30 a.m. - Cowboy Bebop

Pretty much Adult Swim is taking the Toonami name and bumpers and slapping them onto its own late-night anime block. I share Bricken's disappointment, I was really hoping that they would bring back old standards like Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, and Yu Yu Hakusho.

Things that need to exist: a Good Omens movie

If for no other reason than to have a movie with Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston in it.

You know what's better than a goatee? A batee!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go and shave off my beard, because it will never be as awesome as this guy's goatee.

Enjoy Richard Nixon Futurama cosplay

The lights on the jar take away from it, but I get why he added them.

If you're a gamer in Germany, I feel bad for you son, because I got 99 problems and a court ruling ain't one

If you own an Xbox 360 or were planning to upgrade your computer's OS to Windows 7, you are having a bad day indeed, because a court in Germany has banned the sale of both in the country because of alleged patent infringements by Microsoft against Motorola. Not to worry, however, as MS has a court order from Seattle that will keep their products on the shelves while they appeal the ruling. I imagine this will get curbstomped or people will simply find a way around the ban if it holds up.
