I guess you could say that's...one whale of a tail

A giant sculpture of a whale's tale saved a Dutch metro train from crashing 30 feet after derailing.

 The best part is that the installation is called "Saved by the Whale's Tail." You can't convince me that a time traveler didn't come back and put that there specifically for this moment.

"Okay, before we begin construction, I want to make sure that this tail will be built strong enough to hold up a metro train."

"What? Why?"

"I have my reasons."
